Course Overview

This course takes you from the fundamentals of swar (notes) and taal (rhythm) through progressively advanced ragas, alankars, and bandishes in the Hindustani classical tradition. You will build breath control, voice culture, and improvisational skill (alaap and taan) under weekly guidance, with practice trackers and recorded riyaz assignments.

No. Most of our courses start from absolute-beginner level, covering fundamentals before progressing to advanced technique. Our admissions team places you at the right starting level after a short assessment call.

It varies by course: keyboard and piano welcome students from age 6, most vocal and string courses from age 8, and guitar/drums typically from age 10. Adult learners of any age are welcome across all courses.

We offer both formats for most courses. Online classes are live (not pre-recorded), one-on-one or small group, and include practice tracking. Campus classes are available in select cities, with the option to switch formats as your schedule changes.

Most students reach a comfortable performance level (a short recital piece) within 6-9 months of consistent weekly practice. Full course tracks run 6-12 months and are designed for steady, structured progress rather than a fixed finish line.
